Shottisham is located on the Bawdsey Peninsula some 8 miles from the market town of Woodbridge. The Bawdsey Peninsula is part of the Suffolk Heritage Coast and a designated Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Popular with visitors much of the year, the area is renowned for its coastal and estuary waters which are teeming with bird-life.
To reach Shottisham from Woodbridge, follow the signs to Sutton Hoo, Hollesley and Bawdsey (B1083). Once past Sutton Hoo, continue straight ahead, avoiding taking the left turn to Sutton Heath. Follow the road straight for 4 miles passing through Sutton, and you will shortly arrive at a T-junction, turn left and 450 metres from the junction the pub will be in front of you.
