We are open seven days a week, serving a selection of tap drawn cask ales including Adnams and Wherry, fine wines, beers and spirits. Our food is prepared and cooked in our kitchen and is available every lunchtime and evening.

Our hard-working and very willing team in the pub are Jim Wedderburn - Pub Manger, James Blowes - Chef and Alice Taylor - Assistant Bar Manager. All of them will be happy to help and to make sure that you have a pleasant visit.

Food and drinks are served in either of our bar areas, one with an open fire and the main restaurant area which contains an inglenook fireplace with wood burner. The bar also contains an original bar-billiards table which see's good and competitive use the year round.

During the spring and summer the front garden, looking down over the village from where you can watch the world go by, is the most sought over area for food, nibbles and a glass of wine or beer. During the summer of 2012 we expect to open up the Pigthle behind the pub as an informal pub garden. From here the views over the village and church provide a lovely setting.
