Thanks to everyone who braved the cold weather over May Bank Holiday. We had a dozen stall-holders who displayed their various wares, the RDA very kindly brought three ponies for rides, generous musicans kept everyone entertained around the Maypole. The steam traction engine was a beauty and we're extremely grateful to the owners for bringing it to the pub. On the Monday we were lucky enough to have the Barley Brigg Morris Men and Women entertain everyone for a couple of hours in front on the pub. Click here to see the pictures.

Folk Music/Morris Dancers
We're very lucky to have a number of talented musicians connected with the pub and have put together a range of music events over the coming weeks, as follows:

Tuesday 15th May - Danegeld Morris Dancers come to the pub at 7.30 pm for a dance and a session afterwards
Monday 21st May - we have close harmony group Triangle performing
Monday 28th May - an informal session for any local musicians and singers to turn up and play/sing
Monday 18th June - Bounty Hounds a superb group from Bury St Edmonds has agreed to do an evening for us
Monday 16th July- an informal session for any local musicians and singers to turn up and play/sing
